The Plantation June 2018 Launch In Central Hong Kong’s China Club A Rousing Success
ALFA Investors and long-time resort developer Dale Rennie picked just the right venue to launch The Plantation Luxury Pool Villas last June 7. There was no other option but the exclusive China Club in Central Hong Kong, a place defined by success and which inevitably extends to the latest high-end property project by Rennie and wife Sabrina.
Rennie is a China Club card holder, meaning he is in league with opulent members that have ready access to “contemporary Chinese art, a well-stocked library, superb Cantonese food and Shanghai tea house vibe,” which was how the South China Morning Post described the place that for many in Hong Kong is a traditional tea house.

Rennie was gunning for success with The Plantation push, a hilltop development of 16 luxury villas, and it certainly appeared he hit the mark with the recent launch.
According to ALFA Managing Director Jo Lodder, 30 invited guests turned out for the event, which was held in the China Club library where they marvelled at thousands of book collection and unique art works, gathered by club founder David Tang through the years, that showcase Chinese culture.
It was clear though that the attendees enjoyed not only what China Club has to offer. They came to know first-hand all the buzz on The Plantation. No one came home disappointed, and not because of the served drinks and the Christmas-like pack of goodies that Sabrina has meticulously prepared.
Selling The Plantation
Clearly, the guests were sold on the presentations delivered by Rennie and Lodder. The former, as usual, has eloquently made the case for The Plantation, which he envisions as an inspirational premium lifestyle that will play out in a sustainable environment.

Lodder, for his part, laid out the specifics on investing in the property, which will become operational in 2019, and Sri Lanka. “The presentation was well-received and we are happy with the turn out,” the ALFA MD shared.
“Guests were made aware of the huge potentials not only of the project but also of Sri Lanka. The event generated a great deal of excitement and interest from the attendees that ALFA expects sales to pick up further,” he added.
Sure enough, the launch translated to initial success as Lodder reported that around “50 percent of the project has been sold.”
Also during the pitch, ALFA and Rennie debuted the latest CGIs for The Plantation, the first time the images were released to the public. The stunning representation of the property, although not yet in final form, likely served as the strongest argument for buyers and investors alike to make their move quick.
